WCAX - Senator Leahy Addresses Vermont National Guard at Deployment Ceremony

On January 6, 2010, Senator Leahy addressed about 100 members of the 101st Field Artillery B Battery of the Vermont National Guard who are being called to duty for the mission in Afghanistan. The ceremony was held at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction. The troops also heard from Major General Michael Dubie, Governor Jim Douglas, Congressman Peter Welch, and a representative from Senator Bernie Sanders' office. Video from WCAX, Channel 3.
