Comments On The New Audit of Organic Standards and Labeling Program
On March 18, 2010, the USDA's Inspector General released a long awaited audit of the national organic standards and labeling program. Senator Leahy, the father of the organic program, also secured funds for this audit. Leahy commented on the audits findings after it was released.
