Attorney General Holder To Appear Before Senate Judiciary Committee
WASHINGTON (Wednesday, March 10, 2010) – Attorney General Eric Holder will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) announced today. The hearing will be the third Justice Department oversight hearing of the 111th Congress. The Attorney General last appeared before the Committee on November 18.
The Senate Judiciary Committee holds periodic oversight hearings of the Department of Justice. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 9:30 a.m., in room 226 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The hearing will be webcast live online via the Judiciary Committee’s website. Testimony and member statements will also be available.
