On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, an earthquake hit the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince, and its surrounding areas, causing widespread destruction and loss of life.
Any Vermonter who has relatives or friends in Haiti who they are trying to locate, or who has questions about how they can help the people of Haiti, should not hesitate to contact Senator Leahy's offices.
