While the economy continues to recover, the shortage of affordable housing continues to impact communities throughout the United States, where rates of homeless families continue to rise.  Senator Leahy has made combatting homelessness a top priority, recognizing that the issue of homelessness is especially urgent in places like Vermont.   These efforts have been guided, matched and amplified by an incredible collection of partners, community organizations and individuals throughout Vermont.
