Appointments to the United States Service Academies are highly competitive and provide high school students an opportunity to receive an excellent education and the skills necessary to become a commissioned officer in the Armed Services. Senator Leahy accepts several college students each year to intern in his Burlington, Montpelier, and Washington, D.C., offices. Students have the opportunity to learn about the legislative process while becoming an integral part of the staff. Read More »
